KEY INFORMaTION

We offer a creative stimulating balance of child initiated and adult led activities and follow the Early Years Foundation stage curriculum. We are committed to outdoor learning, with our children having daily access to our garden for the majority of their session and a fortnightly half day session in our on-site Forest School.

Each child has the support of a key worker, who is the main link between child, family and nursery. We aim to offer a learning environment that enables and empowers children to become independent learners and thinkers, who are able to communicate clearly and sociably with others.

We work closely with artists and performers to ensure a rich creative learning environment.

We also work closely with parents and carers as you know your children the best. All families are offered an initial induction meeting and regular parent meetings and ‘Play and Learn with Your Child Days’. We have an open door policy and your partnership is valued.

Our school does not have a school uniform, however children need to be dressed in clothes that they can manage themselves and that they can run, climb and play in e.g. velcro shoes or trainers, elasticated trousers or leggings, T-shirts and jumpers or sweatshirts. Their clothes will also get dirty and messy so please keep their best clothes for after school!
