We follow Birmingham Local Authority's guidelines for admission to nursery schools

Osborne Nursery School is a maintained Nursery school offering up to 160 part-time places of 15 hours per
week. Most of our children attend for either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons per week, others attend for 2.5 days per week (15 hours per week). We also offer 30 hour places for eligible working families.

To register your child, please download and complete the initial registration form from the link below. Please return this to the school office in person or by emailing it to enquiry@osbornen.bham.sch.ukĀ 

Initial Registration Form

Our session times for 3-4 year olds are:

5 morning sessions: 8:30 to 11:30am

5 afternoon sessions: 12:30 to 3:30pm

2.5 days a week at the beginning of the week, Monday and Tuesday: 8.30am to 2.30pm and Wednesday: 8.30am to 11.30am (lunch on Monday and Tuesday only)

2.5 days a week at the end of the week, Wednesday: 12.15pm to 3.30pm and Thursday and Friday: 8.30am to 2.30pm (lunch on Thursday and Friday only)

Working parents eligible for 30 hours free childcare for their 3-4 year old:

We are able to accommodate 30 hour children during the following times:
5 sessions: 8.30am to 2.30pm

5 sessions: 9.30am to 3.30pm

4 sessions: 8.30am to 4.00pm

If you require a combination of these times or alternatives between 8.30am and 4.00pm please contact our school office and we will try to accommodate you.
The above places are offered to children from the term after they have their 3rd birthday. Additional hours may be available on a paid top-up basis between 8.30am and 4.00pm, enquire at the school office for availability and prices.

We also have 2 year old places for children eligible for 2 year old funding or working parent entitlement

Session times for our 2 year olds are:
5 morning sessions: 8:30 to 11:30am
5 afternoon sessions: 12:30 to 3:30pm
To register your child please complete a Nursery Admissions form either by downloading the form and emailing or posting it to us or by calling in to school and completing the form.
