Daily Structure
Morning Structure:
8:30 to 8:50 am – Children are dropped off by their parents who settle them at an activity of the child’s choosing before they leave.
8:50 to 9:00 am – Children gather into their keyworker groups on their carpet areas to do the register, sing hello to their friends and count how many children are here.
9:00 to 9:20 am – Children move into their learning groups for an adult led activity. These groups may change throughout the year and are differentiated by the children’s needs. The activities the children will do vary each day and could include listening games, maths activities, growing, problem solving, dancing, music, exploring or phonics.
9:20 to 11:10 am – Children can choose to play inside or outside and move freely between rooms. They are able to choose from a range of activities that are offered each day and play with children from other groups.
11:10 to 11:30 am – Children return to their keyworker groups for a story and singing time.
11.30 am – Children are collected by their parents from their carpet areas.
AfternoonÂ
